07.31.08District 9 – UPDATEThere's something coming and I think it's gonna be huge! Producer: Peter Jackson, director: Neill Blomkamp (unknow to me until now), Name of the movie: District 9 (release 8/14/2009). What attracted my attention are those two awesome websites: D-9.com and also MultiNationalUnited.com. Check it out! 07.28.08Review: Hellboy II: The Golden ArmyIch habe mir den zweiten Teil von Hellboy angesehen. Hier nochmal der Trailer, der Euren Appetit anregen soll: Mein Senf nach dem Click...(Spoiler!) Als mächtig großer Fan des ersten Teil (ich halten ihn für einen der besten Comicverfilmungen so far), war ich natürlich sehr gespannt auf Guillermo del Toro's zweiten Streich. Sein Pan's Labyrinth war ja ebenfalls überdurchschnittlich gut und hat mir die Zeit auf Hellboy II angenehm verkürzt. So bin ich also mit sehr großen Erwartungen in Hellboy's zweites Kinoabenteuer gegangen und - um's schon mal vorab zu sagen - wurde nicht enttäuscht. 07.25.08Comic Con 2008<--Sorry, durch den Wechsel von Serendipity zu Wordpress im Oktober 2008 funzen die Bilder in diesem Beitrag leider nicht mehr --> Comic Con...what else? Director Sam Raimi showed his TV-Series Wizard's First Rule. Raimi said it's all about the characters and they showed a small videoclip about each character. Everything looked a little bit like "Lord of the Rings". Maybe, because they shoot the series in New Zealand. What I saw also: Vampire Hunter D 2 Poster, Kick-ass Predator figures, Zombie-Girls, Ghost Busters, lot's of Star Wars Merch, weird creatures and cool artwork :) Check out the pictures:

07.22.08Mein Liebster FeindRecently I watched some good clips about the work of Werner Herzog on avantgarde.de. The most entertaining parts are those with Herzog and Kinski and the "hate-love"-relationship between them both. I highly recommend to watch this documentary about Herzog and Kinski again :) "Mein liebster Feind"
