Fernando Yuppie hebt Tech-Sliding seid einiger Zeit in immer neue Höhen. Der Brasilianer zeigt auch in diesem neuen Video für Abec 11, was man mit einem Board alles in Sachen Slides machen kann. Wahnsinn!

Longboarding, shortboarding ... to Fernando it's all skateboarding and it's all good. He and his buddy decided to shoot this video out on their own. We love it. Nachdem ich hier letztens schon einen Clip von Caliber hatte, zieht Paris Trucks Co jetzt nach und präsentiert uns einen sehr schönes Video. Neben Ditches und Streetaction gibt's auch jede Menge Downhill-Aufnahmen. Roadtrip-Feeling satt! Mit dabei sind u.a. Matt Kienzle, Kody Noble, Griffin Hopkins, James West, Cody Shea, Brad Parker und Amanda Powell. 

The Paris Crew embarked on yet another adventure. This time we set our sights on the mountains of Colorado, with a side of Ditches in Albuquerque on the way. Call it a team building exersise, call it an excuse to get on the road for a week with friends. Whatever you may call it, we had a great time filming and documenting the adventure, enjoy this video as much as we did filming it!

Heute war ja meteiologischer meteoreologischer meteorologischer Frühlingsanfang. Dafür erst mal ein herzliches: ENDLICH! Grund genug zwei schöne Longboard-Videos zu posten :-) 

Das erste wurde heute in Berlin aufgenommen von YT-User NeroBurnz. Das Video stellt im Prinzip eine Stadtrundfahrt mit dem Brett durch Berlin dar. Viele gute Spots sind dabei. Wahrscheinlich erkennen viele Berliner alle oder fast alle Spots wieder. U.a. fahren die Jungs auch direkt vor meiner Haustür vorbei (natürlich noch ein Grund das Video zu bringen...gnahihi). Wie man sieht war heute allerbestes Wetter in Berlin. Das Video natürlich nur stilecht mit entsprechendem Minimal-Sound. Übrigens: Ich will auch so einen Hund!

Das 2. Video ist etwas mehr auf Hochglanz poliert und Brett Ciabattini zieht ein paar sagenhafte Slides.

We at Original were so stoked on this vid that we chose it to open our new Rider Alliance channel and look forward to the next piece of NorCal downhill skateboard art from Sean and Aviel.

Assistente Oliveira bongloardet lässig durch Sao Paulo und zeigt dabei sowohl Tricks, die man eher vom Skaten gewohnt ist, als auch schöne Slides. Die Stadt hat offensichtlich ein paar sehr gute Spots zu bieten. Verantwortlich für das Video war Rafael Paiva, auf dessen Channel es noch andere schöne Videos zu sehen gibt.

"Feel the Hill" ist eine zwanzigminütige Doku vom kanadier Jérémy Comte  über's Longboarding. Vorgestellt werden darin die verschiedenen Disziplinen: Footwork (aka dancen), Slide Roue Dure (aka Hard Wheel Slide), Slide Roue Molle (Soft Wheel Slide), Slalom und Downhill. Daher ist die Doku schon sehr abwechslungsreich und zeigt aus allen Bereichen tolle Aufnahmen."Main Riders" sind Marc Seguin, Maxim Garant Rousseau, Matthew Kienzle, Nikolas Desmarais, Pascal "Rooky" Jean, Yann Lhermite und Samuel Charlebois.

Die Jungs von Landyachtz (Billy Meiners, Travis Craig, Dave Rudgers, Kyle Martin, Dave Leslie, Adam Yates, Andrew Chapman und Phillip Lemire) haben einen Trip nach Orcas Island gemacht. Ohne Plan. Herausgekommen ist ein tolles Video mit jeder Menge longboarden, skaten und auch ansonsten schönen Aufnahmen.

Filling the van with a rad crew and traveling to somewhere you've never been. Doesn't get much better.

Der folgende Clip zeigt ein sehr schönes "Best-Of" 2012 des R.A.D.-Teams. Primär ist das Ganze auf Downhill ausgelegt und man sieht quasi das "Who-Is-Who?" der kalifornischen Szene. Mit dabei sind Max Ballesteros, Ben Debreuil, James Kelly (guckt mal in die Suche oder hier "Raw Run" - mein Lieblingsclip von ihm), Louis Pilloni (hier oder ebenfalls die Suche) und Jackson Shapiera  (hier und hier).

Ein wirklich sehr schöner Bericht vom letztjährigen IGSA Event in Südafrika, der da auch sein 10 jähriges Jubiläum verzeichnen konnte. Neben den spektakulären Aufnahmen vom Renntag, gibt es auch sehr schöne Luftaufnahmen von den Trainings-Sessions. Zu Wort kommen u.a.: Erik Lundberg, Douglas Dalua Silva, Tobjorn Sunde, Tamara Prader, Peter Elliot, Richard Dweza, Kent Lingeveldt, Alex Tongue und Patrick Switzer. 

Südafrika scheint eine ziemlich lebendige Downhill-Szene zu haben. Bei einem kleinen Blick ins Archiv kam auch z.B. dieser Clip hier zum Vorschein "Longboarding 2010 - The Archives - South Africa".

Für Fans des Sports ist der ca. 15 min lange Clip, den wir mitunter Sector 9 zu verdanken haben, ein absolutes Muss, für alle anderen mindestens gute Unterhaltung!

This is a short documentary about a group of six longboarders from Freiburg, Germany.
William and Felix speaking about their love, passion and special feelings they have whether it is about creating a board, riding it or living it.

It's about how skateboarding sticks to you over your lifetime as a great friend and how skateboarding sticks you to your friends. 
It's about how wanting to become a rallye car racer as a little kid refers to drifting and speeding down a hill on skateboards.
It's about wanting to do more than just have a passion but being dedicated to it in every way. 
It's about riding free and living free. And share these feelings, this love with others.

Kleine Kurz-Doku von Liam Gnaden, die Einblicke in die australische Donwhill-Szene gibt. Die Gesetzeslage ist da auch interessant. Man darf wohl - wie ein ganz "normaler" Verkehrsteilnehmer - mit dem Brett die Berge runterdüsen, solange man sich an die Verkehrsregeln hält.

Arian Chamasmany zeigt hier ganz einfach Next Level Shit was dancen angeht. Adam Colton und Adam Stokowski hatten hinter der Kamera ihre Hände im Spiel. L.A. bietet auch einige sehenswerte Spots. Beste!

Los Angeles is right in our backyard and we're happy to present our first video really featuring downtown LA. We really did not show the clean parts of downtown in this video but rather a very grungy, slightly dirty, and colorful arts district of LA with Ari ripping the Fattail. You may recognize Ari from the "Swirling Samas" video; he has a very unique dance style that is very entertaining to watch. What is impressive is that he can still bust out intricate footwork moves on a smaller, more sensitive board like the Fattail. Stoked to present this video to you all. It has a very "Sunny Side Up" feel with fast cuts of B-Roll on the beats. We focused on doing a lot of follow shots to create a dynamic vibe with lots of movement and action. I had fun playing around with city sound effects for this video. Adam S. killed it with the filming, and Ari jammed on his board.
